Listserve
County and District Clerks' Association Listserve Membership Application and
Rules
The Clerks’ Listerve is an e-mail tool that allows listserve members
to seek or share information with other clerks by sending a single message
that goes to the entire group simultaneously. Clerks may then respond if they
wish. Membership is free and members will be able to discriminate between listserve
e-mails and others because "TAC-CLERK" will appear as a tag on each
message. Applications for the listserve will be mailed by teh Treasurer of
the CDCAT along with the notice of dues.
If you would like to apply to participate in the Texas Association of Counties
and County and District Clerks Association’s TAC-CLERK Listserve, please
read the Listserve Rules below, fill out the attached application and
either fax or mail the application to the President of the County and District
Clerks' Association, who will then forward the application to the Chair of
the Listserve Committee. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation notice
and you may then begin contacting your fellow TAC-CLERK members. To send a
message through the listserve, e-mail your question or comment to tac-clerk@list.county.org.
It will automatically be circulated to all listserve members. To respond, hit
reply, compose your message then send.
Participants need to be aware that the OPEN RECORDS ACT applies to all e-mail,
including this listserve. Participants are advised to refrain from discussing
pending or potential legislation.
